Drive Safe!

Planning to drive thru the Baja? As you know, the north of the state  was hit by Hurricane Paul a few days ago. The Transpeninsular highway has been affected and detours have been created. It is really important to look for any sign on  the  road and follow  the  authority´s  instructions. Here are a few pics of the highway after Paul…

Please be careful! La Jolla´s family looks forward to see you all soon!

Hurricane Paul

Paul didn´t want to stay in Cabo! Thanks God we just had heavy rain  that didn´t cause major damages.  High waves, flooded roads, swamped neighborhoods, the loss of internet and cell phone usage and a few electrical shortages in some areas was the result of Paul in the county. Comondu, Loreto & Mulege have a different story! Unfortunately the hurricane did cause material damages in the area and some small communities are uncommunicated as today.  Thankfully, there were not human losses and the people from South Baja is safe.

Cabo is getting back to normal since yesterday. People all around is cleaning the roads and trying to keep Cabo beautiful as always! La Jolla is perfectly fine and our guys are doing a great job getting all the areas back in shape..

Look forward to see you all soon! Please do not forget about our annual meeting this upcoming November 3rd and also… our traditional potluck party on the 1st! Start practicing your recipes!!! We will surely share  a wonderful evening surrounded  by La Jolla´s family!

See you soon!

As you know, Civil Association I holds all properties of Cluster I HOA, and Civil Association II serves as administrator of Cluster I HOA.  All Cluster I homeowners are members of Civil Association II.

The Board of these Civil Associations has five members.  Each member serves for a term of two years.  There are three Board vacancies to be filled this year. Jerry Kurrle and Marg Hedges will continue to serve the second year of their two year terms.

The Board of Civil Association II represents the membership in the hiring of the manager and has direct oversight of the operation of the condominium regime.  This Board meets three times a year in February, June and November.  Each of these meetings lasts about one week.

To comply with the Bylaws of Cluster I HOA these same Board members will be elected to serve a term of one year on the Cluster I HOA Board.

Both of these elections will take place at the General Assembly Meeting scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd, 2012.  There will be a social gathering Thursday evening, November 1st, at which event the homeowners will be able to visit with the candidates.
