A mayor plumbing problem was detected on one of the units of “D” Building. Emergency repairs will start as of Today and will take around 2 weeks to be completed. We expect some noise during this time, especially on the first 8 days of works. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause you.

Board Update

Greetings Homeowners.

In an effort to be transparent, the board will periodically update you through emails such as this that will also be posted on the website.

 The official minutes of the Nov. 5 annual meeting will be posted and distributed once they are translated and finalized. Please know that research on items discussed at the annual meeting has begun, as well as on suggestions made since then. In addition, the following actions by the board have occurred:

–Decision to have the spring information meeting on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

–Appointment of board member Tony Stevens to lead the committee to research phone, internet and TV services for the complex.  

–Decision to add additional bases/umbrellas to the swimming pool areas.

The board looks forward to a great year and thanks you for the opportunity to serve you. Please be sure to email any suggestions or questions you have to Sofia who will bring them to the full board.

I would like to make everyone aware that under our by-laws, article 64 states ” Assembly decisions shall be carried by simple majority vote, except when the provisions applicable to the Real Estate Condominium property Law for Mexico orders a specific majority.” In Chapter II of the By-laws for the Condominium Regime in Baja Sur, under ” Common Property for General Use” Article 30, Rules to Observe for Construction Works to be Done, that translate into an improvement of appearance or more comfort, which may or may not increase the value of the condominium, it is required an agreement of the assembly that represents 75% of the whole condominium regime.” Published August 20th, 2016.  These rules will be in affect at our annual meeting to be held on November 5.
